You learn something new every day

It's true. You really do. And today I hit the jackpot of wisdom nuggets. Here's what I learned...and in the order I learned them too!

  1. Getting ready for a new desk to be delivered is fun. Especially when the delivery and assembly only takes 10 minutes!
  2. Getting re-organized is easy when you only have 1 drawer.
  3. When a dog follows you around then starts making funny noises, she's gonna puke.
  4. 4:00 pm is not an opportune time to ask for help from a client
  5. 4:00 pm is a great time to go for a run! 2.5 miles today...I am happy with that!
  6. It is a great idea to move the old desk to it's new home...Chris' office AKA, the basement after running 2.5 miles
  7. My strength is significantly depleted after running 2.5 miles.
  8. Desks with corners can leave HUGE bruises on ankle bones.
  9. Chips/dents in the wall can be patched.
  10. The desk can be disassembled to move down the next flight of stairs.
  11. Tuesdays are great days for beer.

  1. Sounds like a productive, if somewhat painful day. I hope you love your new desk and the extra space.

  2. I assume that the dog pucking was Abby. She did not like the guys coming in to your office with stuff. What a sissy beagle you have. Loved the blog. It made me laugh.

  3. Amen to all of the "learnings". I did laugh at #3, sorry, it was funny.

As for #11, I think EVERY day is a great day for beer.
